Meet the Instructor

Coach Kuartez James

Hi there, I'm Coach Kuartez! One long term goal that I always had when I began coaching football was to help our players get to college. I grew up admiring my talented cousins and other hometown heroes on the football field or basketball court. They were very talented but never got an opportunity to go to college. After high school, life dealt some of them a bad hand. I didn't want to see that happen for anyone else. One of the biggest myths out there is "if you're good enough, then they will find you." which is absolutely NOT TRUE! Another myth is that you have to move to a big city in order to get exposure. People thought the deck was stacked against us.

I sought out other high school coaches who've had success getting their student athletes recruited to D1 and drafted to the NFL. I also spoke to several college coaches and asked a lot of questions. With their guidance I was able to debunk a lot of myths and help players get recruited to play Division 1 football. After doing so, parents from all over the area sought me out for help and thats how Recruit University was born. Through my company Recruit University, we've been able to help families get their student athletes from all over the country in multiple sports.
